FYI,

Just passing along information from a presenter:

"Modern Pop Art Experience: Make Art with Michael Albert" runs for 2 hours. It is good for kids (school age & up), and great also for teens and/or as a combined Family or Community Art event at the library.

My Pop Art program for Libraries  basically has these 4 elements:

1) Meet the Artist & see examples of my art—I provide a set of posters in advance for display or to show local art teachers, press, etc. These are for the library to keep. I’ll also provide a copy of my book, “An Artist’s America”

2) Artist Presentation is a short Introduction- where I tell the group about myself & why I started making art & show them examples of my art. This is about 30 minutes.

3) Hands On Cereal Box Collage Workshop- I bring all materials including many boxes to work with & scissors & glue for about 40 people. Everyone has the chance to create their own collage in the same way that I do. This is about 45 minutes- 1 hour

4) Free Poster Giveaway & Signing - everyone who participates can choose a poster (from 20 different choices) & take it with them at the end as a special memento of the experience. 1/2 hour clean up & poster giveaway/signing...

**EXHIBITIONS: For libraries that have gallery space, Mr. Albert can arrange to hang a selection of his creations in conjunction with his program which enhances the experience for the community at large.

The fee is usually $350 for the 2 hour program including everything, but if necessary we can negotiate, especially for multiple programs.  I have many references if required. Please  Google “Michael Albert Pop Art programs” to see more info/articles/etc.

Thank you for your consideration and please call with any questions.

Sincerely,

Michael
