Good afternoon,

As chair for the Summer/Out of School Time Learning Task Force (for the Association for Library Service to Children), it is my pleasure to invite you all to register for the webinar that the Task Force will be presenting on Thursday, January 17th, 2019, at 2pm EST/11am PST. Register here: http://www.ala.org/alsc/making-move-summer-reading-summer-learning

The webinar will be presented by Elizabeth McChesney, Director of System Wide Children's Services and Family Engagement at Chicago Public Library, and Liesl Jacobson, Children's Services & Family Engagement Coordinator at Salt Lake City Public Library, on behalf of the Task Force.

Participants will gain an awareness of the pedagogy of moving summer reading to summer learning, learn best practices from the field in making this shift, and gain an understanding of NSLA and their role in supporting libraries in summer learning.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you,

Elsa Ouvrard-Prettol
