Hi, Everyone,
Have any of you who work in public libraries continued (or started) to serve as meal distribution sites for kids who are eligible for free or reduced lunch who would normally get it in their school?
I know it’s a long shot since all public libraries are closed and some of you are only feeding sites during the summer. If you are currently working with a local organization to do something creative, innovative and/or above-and-beyond to feed the community through the public library - while abiding by public health safety protocols, of course - please let me know. The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) is looking for public libraries to spotlight for the April CSLP newsletter.
Thanks.
~Sharon
