I didn’t see that anyone responded to your email to the discussion list. But, I do want to say that I think this year is going to be different from any year before.
I’m sure there are a lot of factors involved besides the pandemic, like the fact that kids and adults may have screen fatigue, or may want to be outside as much as possible due to being cooped up inside for months.
I don’t think you can compare registrations and participation to previous years. I think we’re all just going to have to accept that it is what it is. I’m certainly not expecting the statistics to compare with previous years! If it makes you feel any better other states are also experiencing the same thing as well.
