REFORMA Colorado, a local chapter of the national association to promote library and information services to Latinos and the Spanish speaking, is looking for presenters for our 2021 virtual conference. Please feel free to spread this widely to any colleagues who may be interested in presenting! The virtual conference will be held Friday May 21, 2021. We are looking for presentations on a wide range of topics that pertain to REFORMA CO's mission and goals:

 

·       To promote development of Spanish-language and Latino/Hispanic oriented library collections.

·       To support active recruitment of bilingual, bicultural library staff.

·       To increase Latino/Hispanic awareness of available library services and collections.

·       To advocate on behalf of the information needs of the Latino/Hispanic community.

 

We welcome and encourage presentations in Spanish. REFORMA Colorado is arranging to have simultaneous interpretation services via Zoom. We are also looking for presentations on the following topics: leadership and management, career advancement, cultural competency, and ESL & citizenship programming. Please use this Form to submit your presentation proposal. The deadline for the application is Friday April 30, 2021. Applicants will be notified by May 7, 2021 about the status of their program proposal.
