Date: March 7th 2011

Dear Library Colleagues:

For some time now, we have realized that Victoria Rosch and Scherelene Schatz\x92s ability to do statistics, surveys and analysis has greatly enhanced our work in advocacy and marketing. Peggy Cadigan\x92s work in programming has added to our Library Development Bureau\x92s excellent reputation in continuing education, futures and communication with the field. Kathi Peiffer\x92s work in legislation and grants has made a definite impact on our budget. For these reasons, we are reorganizing on March 21st as follows:

  1. Victoria Rosch, in Administration, will head our statistics, surveys, per capita aid and JerseyCAT ILL, and work with Michele Stricker on library law.

  2. Peggy Cadigan will head the Library Development Bureau, which includes adult and youth services, diversity, LibraryLinkNJ, Erate and technology topics, continuing education, planning and communication with the field. Michele Stricker is still the Deputy Head of LDB.

  3. Kathi Peiffer will work in Administration on state and federal legislation, government/media relations, LSTA and other grants and grant-writing, contracts, librarian certification, report writing and correspondence.

If you have any questions about the changes, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Norma E. Blake State Librarian
