Hi Liz,
Here at Springfield we have "JEI" or JER. JER is Juvenile Easy Readers, such as the level readers. We use the label  JEI for 2nd-3rd grade chapter books such as Heidi Hecklebeck, Magic Tree House, Judy Moody, etc.

Hi all,

I am exploring the possibility of creating a new children's section in between Easy Readers and Juvenile Fiction for early chapter books with larger font, more pictures, and fewer pages than the longer chapter books.

Do you have a section like this in your library? If so, what do you call it? First chapters? Intermediate?

Thank you in advance for your response!

All the best,

Liz Hoens
