Children and Digital Media Training
Wednesday, January 29
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Cherry Hill Public Library, 1100 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034

CHPL is providing a FREE training opportunity for Youth Services staff. Denise Agosoto, Director of the Library & Information Science Master's Program at Drexel University, would like to test new coursework out with library staff to get feedback. The training sessions teach librarians about current issues related to children and digital media and how they can act as media advocates within their communities. This project is funded by the Institute for Museum & Library Services (IMLS) and is a joint project of Drexel, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Oklahoma. Click HERE to learn more.

Each session lasts one hour and we will have a lunch break from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. A light lunch will be provided. We encourage you to stay for all four sessions but understand if you can't. If you are only able to attend the morning or afternoon sessions, we still appreciate your presence. Registration is limited to 40 attendees so please let us know ASAP if you will be participating! Due to limited space, if you register and then realize that you are unable to attend, please notify ...@chplnj.org" style="color: #2199e8; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.3; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Beth Cackowski at 856.903.1232.
