FYI,
Public Library 2026 Summer Reading Workshops - Registration Open
The Statewide Summer Reading Committee has scheduled the dates for the 2026 Summer Reading Workshops, funded by the NJ State Library, for public library staff who work with children, teens and adults. Two of the workshops will be in person and one will be a virtual craft/activity session where all committee members and participants are invited to share ideas.
The in-person workshops will start at 10 am, with registration at 9:30 am. The virtual session will start at 10 am.
Registration is open on the NJ Statewide Summer Reading website. You must be a website subscriber to access the workshop registration page.
For the in-person workshops, you are invited to bring a program idea, example of your reading logs and instructions, and/or craft sample to share with the group.
You are also welcome to bring old prizes you would like to give away for the Incentive Swap – and take home something new.
