AFA donating children's book on Alzheimer's upon request to public libraries

FYI, The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) is a national nonprofit organization. They contacted me to let me know that they would like to donate copies of an educational children’s book they created and published, Dancing with Granddad: An Alzheimer’s Story for Children and Their Families, written by NJ author Linda Bozzo, to public libraries who are interested in receiving them. Bibliography of Pic Bks for Kids About Anxiety

FYI, I’m forwarding this from the ALSC list through ALA Connect: Hello everyone, I apologize for the cross-reference. My colleague, Kim Becnel and I have developed a bibliography of picture books about dealing with anxiety. Please excuse cross postings FYI, The Children’s Book Committee (CBC) at Bank Street College of Education announced on January 27, 2023 that two books are the winners of its inaugural Margaret Wise Brown Board Book Award for excellence in literature for very young children. Give Me a Snickle! by Alisha Sevigny (Orca Book Publishers) won in the 0-18 months range.
