There were some questions from our meeting today about how local municipalities can regulate cannabis use/sale following NJ’s marijuana decriminalization and cannabis legalization. 

The New Jersey League of Municipalities has some helpful resources on their website, specifically those related to the timeline municipalities have to opt-out:

The NJ Office of Attorney General also has a specific website with updates to this legislation.  The latest updates are from 3/26/21.
