The Business First Stop initiative was developed to address Governor Murphy’s goal of making government work more effectively to enable inclusive business growth, and is a strategic component of the Governor’s Stronger and Fairer Economic Plan. Developed in partnership with the New Jersey’s Business Action Center (NJBAC) and the Economic Development Authority (EDA), this initiative is intended to simplify and streamline access to the information, resources, and services that aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners need to start, operate, and grow their business in the Garden State.

The Business.NJ.gov Navigator provides entrepreneurs with a free, personalized step-by-step guide to start a business in New Jersey.

The New Jersey Office of Innovation is looking for new business owners to test the Business.NJ.gov Navigator. Here is additional information:
The Business.NJ.gov team is building a new tool, the business Navigator, which will eventually offer a centralized location for businesses to learn about and respond to any state requirements needed to start, operate, or grow their business.
As part of building that technology, they are looking to find small businesses or entrepreneurs to give feedback on the product on a rolling basis. Participating business owners do not need to prepare anything in advance, and receive a $75 e-gift card for their hour long participation. All feedback will be confidential.
