We hope you are ready to count all the activities that happen in your library on February 19, 2009.

You will find handouts for public libraries and school libraries to use to obtain specialized data. You will also find a handout created specifically for you to give to your customers to help them advocate effectively on your behalf. Our thanks to Marie Downes McDonald, Director, and Helene Gray, Publicity Coordinator, at the West Deptford, NJ Public Library for the handout they created and thanks also to Mary Moyer, Delsea Regional High School and Past President, New Jersey Association of School Librarians, who adapted the handout for use by school librarians.

Susan O'Neal from Middletown Library had a great suggestion - be sure to count all the items that your Technical Services Department processes on February 19. We would have nothing on our shelves if it weren't for the hard work done by this department.

PHOTO TIME! Carolyn Wood from the West Deptford Library created a basic tutorial on how to upload your photos to flickr. It's really easy and only takes a few minutes, and you\x92ll find the tutorial on our wiki.
