Congratulations to the public libraries in Hackensack, Highland Park, and Sparta! They have completed the 2010 Public Library Survey. Will your library join them this week?

The Public Library Survey 2010 is open for three weeks and can be accessed at http://collect.btol.com/. Login information is the same as previous years. In case you do not have the login information, please request it by email or phone mentioned in contact information of the attached FAQs. All instructions are included in the survey and for easier access to instructions while in the survey, you may click on the number of the question (if it is underlined).

Important due dates:

  1. March 15th for 2010 NJSL 12APP (Link is in between PART I and PART 11 of the survey).

  2. April 4th for 2010 Accuracy Certification (Link after PART III--Part 2 for the survey).

    1. April 4th for the Completed Survey (earlier submission will be appreciated).

    Please note that this survey has these purposes:

    \x95To determine whether or not the library meets all Per Capita State Aid requirements (see N.J.A.C. 15:21 \x95To collect information for the Institute of Museum and Library Services national annual survey (items collected by IMLS are marked with an asterisk in the survey).

    \x95To provide statistical information that helps legislators understand the importance of libraries, enables the State Library and NJLA to track needed data regarding policy concerns, provides library directors with information they need to better administer their libraries, provides the general public with public library statistics.
