COMMUNITY COLLEGE SESSIONS

Community colleges will be conducting professional development workshops for library staff and job readiness computer training sessions for library patrons. These sessions will be held within NJ public libraries. If you are interested in hosting sessions at your library, please contact Natasha Peter at npeter@PROTECTED.

Courses scheduled will move forward based on the factors below: \x95 Class size \x96 depends on size of computer lab OR up to 16 using mobile training laptops \x95 Registration \x96 at least 50% of class size should be registered (class of 20, at least 10 should be registered). Notify Natasha Peter at npeter@PROTECTED at least 7 calendar days prior to scheduled date if registration is not at least 50% of class size.

NJWORKS.ORG

This website is available to the public showcasing all of the BTOP resources and tools, as well as all of the BTOP public training sessions scheduled across the state. Send your customers to this website for an overview of everything that this project is offering! **If training sessions are missing or incorrect, please contact Natasha Peter at npeter@PROTECTED with the following information: \x95 Date and time \x95 Name of course \x95 How a person can register for the session Once received, the Calendar of Events will be updated appropriately.

MARKETING

Marketing kits have been sent to all public libraries across the state, including posters, bookmarks, and postcards to advertise services and training sessions.

NJWORKS TRAINING CONTENT

The NJWORKS Training Content (NJN Workforce Link) is now available at http://njn.jerseyconnect.net/. There are over 400 videos that will cover topics on building the skills needed to obtain gainful employment in New Jersey.
