The New Jersey State Library is helping NJLA publicize the Virtual Reference Task Force Survey. There are specific questions on the survey to be answered by directors only, so we are forwarding the survey to you. NJLA has appointed a task force to examine the future of statewide virtual reference. The Task Force is conducting a statewide survey to better understand the NJ library community's need for statewide virtual reference and explore whether or not there is interest in continuing some form of shared virtual reference. Survey responses will be kept confidential. Library directors responding to the survey will be asked about their willingness to help fund this service in the future. Responding positively does not imply a commitment to fund the service at this time.

We strongly encourage everyone to complete this survey. It is short but the information it will provide to the Task Force will be invaluable.
