The following grant information from the New Jersey Historical Commission may be of interest. Please note that some libraries have been awarded grants in the past.
Funding is restricted to projects relating specifically to New Jersey history. Eligible categories include, but are not limited to: conservation of historical materials, digitization projects, editorial and
publication projects, educational initiatives, exhibitions, media, public programs, and research (including archaeological projects, fellowships, oral history, and National and New Jersey registers of historic places nominations). Project grants are awarded
to projects requesting $3,001 to $15,000. Mini-grants are awarded to projects requesting up to $3,000.

Subject: Declaration of Intent for FY 2015 Project Grants and Minigrants now available
Dear Colleagues,
You may now begin and submit your Declaration of Intent to apply for a FY 15 Round I Project Grant or Minigrant. All Declarations of Intent must be submitted via the System for Administering
Grants Electronically (SAGE), and will be due on August 15, 2014.
The New Jersey Historical Commission is offering three workshops for its upcoming grant round for Project Grants and Minigrants. These free workshops will take place in July and provide an
overview of the process including a demonstration of the System for Administering Grants Electronically
(SAGE).

To apply for a grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, all applicants must be registered with SAGE. If you have not already registered, but plan to apply for a grant in this fiscal
year, you are encouraged to register now through SAGE
. You should receive a validation email within a week of registration. If you do not, please call the Commission at (609) 292-6062.
All returning users are encouraged to check their user profiles and organizational profiles in SAGE to ensure accurate contact information. Outdated contact information puts applicants at
risk of missing important notifications.
