The New Jersey State Library with LibraryLinkNJ, The New Jersey Library Cooperative are cosponsoring a public library directors summit on October 7, 2015, at the National Conference Center Holiday Inn in East Windsor.

This one-day event will provide experienced public library directors with best practices and the latest developments in the areas of library law, staff management and funding.

SHARE: Network and renew connections with your community of practice among library directors throughout the state.

REFRESH: This one-day event will provide experienced  public library directors with best practices and the latest developments in the areas of library law, staff management and funding.

DISCOVER: All program topics and content were developed from the results of a statewide survey of public library directors.

After the program, participants will be able to:

• Collaborate with other library directors from across the State.
• Discuss and use best practices for managing and helping personnel flourish
• Explain and apply New Jersey library law
• Share and apply innovative funding strategies

Audience: Experienced New Jersey Public Library Directors

Date: Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Coffee and registration from 9:00 to 9:30 am. Program begins promptly at 9:30.
