The Data Year 2016 Annual Survey is now open.  Either you or your designee should have received your username, password and the URL for the survey.  If you or your designee did not receive this information please let me know.  Please be advised that the deadline for submission of the Survey and Accuracy Certification is March 15, 2016. 

The forms needed for the survey can be found at http://www.njstatelib.org/services_for_libraries/resources/per_capita_state_aid/ under the Data Year 2016 heading.

Please note there are a number of changes and additions to the survey this year.  The changes are posted in the Survey Instructions document at the URL above but I have also posted them below.  If you have any questions regarding the changes please let me know.

13.1 Successful Retrieval of Electronic Information - Local

Report the number of full-content units or descriptive records examined, downloaded, or otherwise supplied to the user, from online library resources that require user authentication but do not have a circulation period. Examining documents is defined as having the full text of a digital document or electronic resource downloaded or fully displayed. Some electronic services do not require downloading as simply viewing documents is normally sufficient for user needs. 

Include use both inside and outside the library. Do not include use of the OPAC or website. 

Report only usage from electronic resources that the library has licensed itself. Usage for statewide databases will be provided in another data element by the State Library.
