Local Government Ethics Law Financial Disclosure Statement Filing Deadline Update

In light of the on-going circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and the difficulties presented with COVID for the local government, the Local Finance Board, at its meeting of April 14, 2021 voted to extend the date upon which the Board would take enforcement action against non-filers of the 2021 FDS until May 31, 2021 from the statutory deadline of April 30, 2021. The Board appreciates and recognizes the dedication of local government officers and employees during this time. 

We expect LFN 2021-08 to be issued soon. This LFN contains instructions on how to file the FDS for your LGOs.  The LFN will be e-mailed to the Local Government Entity Representatives after it is issued.
