Dear Sir/Madam:

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is proposing a revision to the State Implementation Plan (SIP) that addresses the 8-hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).  This SIP Revision also includes a Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) analysis, Nonattainment New Source Review (NNSR) Program Compliance Certification, and the 2017 periodic emissions inventory.

Attached please find the “Notice of State Implementation Plan Revision”.  This notice provides information on how to obtain a copy of the SIP proposal and information on the Public Hearing.

Pursuant to Federal public notice requirements regarding revisions to SIPs, the Department is responsible for making available for public inspection each proposed or revised SIP.  Please make the attached notice available to your patrons or display publicly at least until the end of the public comment period on July 26, 2021.
