This program sounds fun - what do they charge?

PS. I think this listserv is a great resource for programs. Thanks everyone for sharing. However, I would like to see fees included in these recommendations. It will save me the time of contacting the poster again for details, and it would be easier to eliminate a program right away if it is out of my budget range.

Thanks again everyone!

I want to spread the word about a really terrific program we had here this summer. We booked the science educators from Philadelphia-based Wondergy (www.wondergy.com) to do their Cool Science program. Since they were visiting another local library the same day we even got a discount, as did the other library.

Ken Fink engaged the enthusiastic crowd of 50+ kids from the very beginning. After the first couple of minutes, they were squealing with delight and participating fully. We aimed the program at 4th grade and up, but the adults who stayed, and the younger siblings, seemed to love it as well. Ken has all kinds of unique ways to demonstrate how matter changes form and the ice cream finale was great fun.

We are hoping to have him back to do more programs. More info on their web site. Highly recommended.
