Hi Lore,

Since you sent this message out to the listserv, I will respond to the entire list. There isn’t a way to plug in the statistics into Evanced. People will really have to log on and register their books read. If you absolutely find that you cannot use Evanced, you can send me your statistics via e-mail. I will be posting an announcement after the summer reading program with the statistics that I need from libraries not using Evanced.

Best,

Sharon Rawlins, Youth Services Consultant, NJ State Library

I have only recently heard about having to submit stats using Evanced and have a few questions.  We have considered using Evanced for the SRC for several years but everytime we look at it we decide that it does not work for us.  There are many reasons for this including the size of the SRC, the crazy busy nature of the library in the summer, the fact that we use teen volunteers to staff the SRC table, etc.  (We do use Evanced for other program registration so we are very familiar with it and it works very well for that.)  So since we do not wish to use it for SRC registration, what do you suggest we do about submitting stats?  Is there a way to just plug our statistics into it for your purposes?
