TD Bank is pleased to share its 2010 TD Bank Summer Reading Program
with the local community. The Summer Reading Program is designed to encourage
students to continue reading during the summer months. Children who read ten
books by the end of the summer will receive $10 from TD Bank to deposit into a
new or existing TD Bank Young Saver Account.* The Summer Reading Program
takes place May 3rd – September 30th. More
information is available at www.tdbank.com/summerreading.
The Program kicks off in May with TD Bank’s Employee Reading Month, where senior banking representatives
visit local schools, libraries and organizations to read to a first through
third grade class for about 30 minutes.
This year’s chosen book, A Chair for
My Mother, tells the affecting story of a child who discovers that
sometimes the best gifts come from the heart. Along
with its inspirational message of hope, the book also was chosen for its
educational value, and its focus on saving money for future rewards. TD
Bank will donate this book to your classroom/organization so that other
children can enjoy this wonderful story.
If you are interested in receiving Summer Reading bookmarks (available in
English or Spanish) or if you are interested in having a TD Bank representative
visit your library during Employee Reading Month, please contact Jennifer
Goudy, Community Relations Manager, at (856) 470-3761 or jenn...@yesbank.com.
All of us at TD Bank look forward to working with you to make the Summer
Reading Program a success.
