Dear Miss Johnson:

I'm just curious what (if any) responses did you get to your question below?\xA0 We're locked in with AWE for the next several years and will be looking at our options at that point.

Take care,

Anna Shifton, Children's Librarian

Has anyone tried alternatives to the preschool computers sold by AWE?\xA0 \xA0If so, do you use your own computers with age-appropriate games installed and locked?\xA0 Or have you found an alternate source for pre-loaded preschool computer experiences?\xA0 What do you do for the little ones?

We\x92d rather not have the preschoolers online, but do want to offer a computing experience for the little ones. We have had AWE computers for 3 years and have been moderately satisfied. We just wonder if there might be a cheaper solution to this desire.

Please feel free to answer off list. I can post the results if others are interested.

p.s. Priscilla, can you post this to the CSS listserv. I can\x92t find it\x85

Thanks,

Jan
