Hi Sharon,

You had mentioned a panel about grants. I would be willing to participate. I've gotten my library an arts grant and a Target grant for several years. I can also address other resources (free food, merchandise, etc), as well as some grant writing tips and basic information.

I am always happy to talk about Jewish books. If there is a multi-cultural panel, I would be glad to participate.

Regards,
Kathe Pinchuck, Chair

Subject: Program suggestions needed for Youth Services Forum

The annual Youth Services Forum for youth services librarians will take place in fall 2010 but will only be a 1/2 day program. The date and location is still to be determined.

Since it is increasingly difficult for many of you to get out of your libraries, we want to offer programs that will make it worth your time and effort to attend. We are trying to offer those that will also be very useful to you in your job.

The theme this year is "Youth Services in Tough Times."

I need your help with suggestions for programs that fit this theme that are low cost and can be done with limited staff in libraries. I would also appreciate any suggestions you have for presenters. Unfortunately, as in the past, we cannot pay the speakers but we will give CE credits.

PLEASE REPLY OFF LIST TO THIS MESSAGE.  Please e-mail me at ...@njstatelib.org" title="mailto:sraw...@njstatelib.org">sraw...@njstatelib.org, or call 609-278-2640 ext. 116 with suggestions.

Thanks very much!
