The screens and CPU are separate – and they have been working
beautifully – not one hitch in almost a year with any of the 3 stations. My
staff is thrilled with them – before we had some old pc’s and we had to change
discs for each game – so it involved a lot staff intervention and monitoring. So
this was a huge improvement – and with 40 some programs installed, I haven’t
gotten one single complaint about not having enough games.

Thanks, Pat! Do you have the all-in-one
models or are the screen and cpu separate?

[njyac] RE: AWE Early Learning Stations
We've had our 3 AWE computers for just under a year. One of
them had an issue right at the beginning, but they repaired it promptly -
haven't had a single problem with any of them since then and they are all used
very heavily. However, we've only used the printers a handful of times,
since most of the kids using the AWE computers just play the games. The
print quality has been perfectly adequate for what we need.
I've
been very pleased with them.

[njyac] AWE Early Learning Stations
Does anyone have experience with the new AWE all-in-one computer units? Our
contract is up on our old machines and we've had quite a lot of repairs over
the past 5 years. I'm hoping that will not be the case with the new
hardware. Any input is appreciated!
