A patron is looking for short stories to use\xA0in a 9th grade English class, stories that have the theme of materialism. She already knows about O'Henry's "The Gift of the Magi," and Guy de Maupassant's "The Necklace."

She is hoping to also find stories that are more current, and ideally, they would be written expressly for YAs.
