As I am sure you are all aware, the FY11 budget for the New Jersey State Library is a very austere one that necessitated a number of decisions regarding programs, projects and services that would be continued. In recognition of this fact, Gale Cengage Learning has made the decision to continue to offer statewide access to their Informe Spanish language electronic resource at no additional cost through June 30, 2011. This means that all libraries in New Jersey, as well as New Jersey residents with a New Jersey public library card, will continue to have access to the 571 titles listed in Informe, which are primarily journals/magazines, as well as the 209 titles in Ebsco’s Referencia Latina, which are primarily books/monographs.

The New Jersey State Library is very appreciative of this offer from Gale during this challenging economic climate.
