New Jersey State Library to Provide Evanced Solutions Summer Reader to all NJ Public Libraries for
One More Year in 2013
The New Jersey State Library is very happy to announce that it has licensed software for one year from
Evanced Solutions (http://evancedsolutions.com/our-solutions/summer-reader/)
to provide all NJ public libraries with free access to
Evanced Solutions “Summer Reader” online summer reading registration software for 2013. The NJ State Library had had a contact for
the past three years and this extends it for an additional year. If your library has not already used this in the past, this is the perfect time to try it! The online software is being provided by
the NJ State Library at no cost to you so that you and your library customers can do the registration for summer reading and track customers’ reading progress via an online reading log.
Reporting your summer reading statistics is now much easier! Plus, if you choose, library staff can manage prizes and incentives, and your library customers can submit book reviews to
library staff to post on your library’s website or the library catalog. This web-based utility provides an efficient and effective way to manage the summer reading program. Library staff can
easily collect statistics and produce reports with only a few clicks. No more counting titles from reading folders and tallying statistics by hand! Evanced includes a mobile web-enabled
interface for registration and logging as well.
The Evanced Solutions website will host this service that seamlessly melds the Summer Reader product into your library’s interface. This includes programs, database,
and space on a shared server, connection of the server to Evanced Solutions high-speed internet connection, backup of the server’s hard disk and other maintenance on the server.
If your library would like to order this software to be installed at no cost to your library due to the State Library’s statewide license, please go to the Evanced Solutions website (http://evancedsolutions.com/nj-sr-order-form/)
and fill out the online form and submit it electronically. If you have questions you can send them to support at
...@evancedsolutions.com">supp...@evancedsolutions.com. Any library that already has Evanced Summer Reader does not need
to do anything. All of your passwords remain the same.
However, if you need passwords reset, you can email support at
...@evancedsolutions.com">supp...@evancedsolutions.com
Evanced Solutions offers free, weekly, live webinars. If you want to try out the product on your own, a schedule is available at
