Hi Kimberly: I would heartily endorse Carol’s programs! She’s a wonderful storyteller—very engaging. We’ve had her at the NJ Folk Festival numerous times.

Hi Kimberly,
I am a professional storyteller (as well as a children's librarian) and do family programs of interactive stories and songs regularly for groups large & small. It sounds like a program combining food, clothing, and special gift stories would fit in with your food/mitten donation programs.
Here are some possibilities we could choose from (most stories have props and audience volunteers):
· Stone Soup (based on the story by Ann McGovern)
· Alphabet Soup (song by Tom Chapin)
· Chicken Soup with Rice (based on the story by Maurice Sendak)
· Green Eggs and Ham (based on the story by Dr. Seuss)
· Alligator Pie (extended verses, based on the poem by Dennis Lee)
· The Great Big Enormous Turnip (based on the story by Leo Tolstoy)
· I know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie (based on the story by Alison Jackson)
· The Case of the Missing Thanksgiving Turkey (based on the story by Rhonda Turley)
· The Turkey Shot Out of the Oven (based on the poem by Jack Prelutsky, chorus by Cathy Darby)
· The Surprise (based on the story by George Shannon)
· The Marvelous Toy (song by Tom Paxton)
· Night Tree (based on the book by Eve Bunting)
· Joseph Had a Little Overcoat (traditional)
· Hi, My Name is Joe (traditional)
· A Squash and a Squeeze (based on the story by Julia Donaldson)

My fee is based on distance and duration, but would be considerably less than $500. If you will be at Youth Services Forum next week, I can show some of my materials and talk to you about the program them.

Hello!
We are looking to book a fun family/all-ages program for either a Saturday or Sunday in November/December. We'd like to spend under $500 and we're not looking for holiday-themed programming, but we are planning on asking participants to donate non-perishable food items and/or make donations to our mitten tree. Your recommendations would be much appreciated!
Thanks very much!
