Subject: [njla-ya] Registration is now open for the 6th Annual New Jersey Makers Day!
Good morning,
We are pleased to announce that registration for the 6th Annual New Jersey Makers Day is now officially open! New Jersey Makers Day will be held March 20-21, 2020. The online form to register can be found here: http://njmakersday.org/index.php/registration. The early bird registration period for this year ends November 22, 2019.
Last year, many of your organizations were part of the more than 300 locations across NJ that participated in providing unique, hands-on making and learning events. New Jersey Makers Day attracted more than 100,000 residents statewide! We hope you will once again join us in our mission to provide these opportunities to New Jersey residents of all ages in communities across our state. As always, there are no fees to be a participating NJMD site, and what your local event looks like and how you organize it is entirely up to you.
We invite you to visit http://njmakersday.org for the latest information and resources. The website is a great place for those just learning about New Jersey Makers Day as well. Links and resources specifically for registered sites are now accessible through the menu located at the bottom of the page.
New Jersey Makers Day will again be offering a Mini Grants Program to all official event sites that register by the early-bird registration deadline of November 22, 2019. Information on how to apply for mini grants is available at http://njmakersday.org/index.php/mini-grants. Please note that only grant applications from sites officially registered before the early-bird deadline of Friday, November 22 will be considered.
In the coming weeks, we will be providing registered sites with information about any additional sponsorships, discounts, or professional development opportunities as they become available.
We look forward to having your organization join us as a participating site for the 6th Annual New Jersey Makers Day!
