Hi, Everyone,

Those of you in public libraries who participate in the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) summer reading program may wonder how it all comes about. If you join a committee, you’ll have the chance to find out.

Committees are the lifeblood of CSLP. The hard work and creativity of our volunteers shape both the program and the organization. Strong committee participation leads to a strong CSLP.

For many years there have been a number of NJ public library staff  who have participated on these committees. While the duties vary, committee obligations generally run for one calendar year. All committee work is done virtually; either through email, or through phone or online meetings. Attending the CSLP Annual Meeting is not required.

If you are interested, you have until October 3, 2022 to sign up for a committee for 2023.
