FYI,
I’m forwarding this from the ALSC list through ALA Connect:
Hello everyone,
I apologize for the cross-reference. My colleague, Kim Becnel and I have developed a bibliography of picture books about dealing with anxiety. This list was developed with the support of the Carnegie Whitney Grant and features 267 reviews of books that were published between 2010-2022. In addition to the individual reviews, we have used an SEL framework to ideally help librarians, educators, parents, guardians, and counselors better identify books that might work best for the children with whom they work. The bibliography can be found at mls.appstate.edu/picture-books-about-dealing-anxiety. Libraries and other youth-centered organizations are welcome to link directly to the bibliography as a resource for patrons and clients. We hope you find this to be a helpful resource.
Sincerely,
Robin Moeller
