I’m passing along this CALA YALSA taskforce hosted webinar invitation. ~Sharon
Hi everyone,
As part of the work of the Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA) / Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) Taskforce, we're hosting a series of webinars featuring authors from the Stories Beyond Borders: A Chinese American and Diasporic Reading List. You can view our printable PDF housed in the CALA repository (CALASYS): bit.ly/calastoriesbeyond
The second webinar The Power of Art will take place this Wednesday, July 12th, at 12pm Pacific / 3pm Eastern and features authors/artists Gene Luen Yang (American Born Chinese, Superman Smashes the Klan), Laura Gao (Messy Roots), and Julia Kuo (Let's Do Everything & Nothing, I Dream of Popo). Register at bit.ly/sbbart. (Registration is open to everyone, not just CALA members.)
Please share the attached promotional graphic and registration link (bit.ly/sbbart) with your colleagues and networks. We hope to see you there!
Warmly.
