Apply for 9th National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Mac Barnett to visit YOUR community. In fact, the deadline has been extended to Friday, March 7.
While a school or school library can submit a proposal individually, we also encourage bookstores and other community organizations to apply. Please note that community organizations need to work with an area school when applying. Mac wants to talk to kids and adults about the power of picture books!
In order to apply, check out the submission guidelines and checklist here as these forms are very helpful for completing a successful proposal.
