Hi, Everyone,

Here are a few webinars coming up that might be of interest:

Katherine Applegate’s Kickoff for CSLP 2025 Summer Reading Program in Public Libraries – Wed. March 5th

CSLP is partnering with Macmillan to have Katherine Applegate as our Summer Reading Champion for 2025. On Jan. 15, 2025, Macmillan started giving out a large poster featuring our champion with all CSLP orders (while supplies last).

There will be a "kickoff" event on Wed. March 5th at 2 pm that will be live and online where Katherine announces a summer reading champion writing contest for kids that will run June 1 - July 31st.  One lucky submission will win a live library webinar with her, $500 worth of Macmillan children's titles and 4 signed books.

Register here to attend live (limit 3,000 participants). If you cannot attend live, but would like to receive a link to the recording, complete this form.

Already thinking about 2025’s summer reading/learning program in your public library? The theme is Art and the slogan for all ages is Color Our World with artwork by Mike Mullan.

Would you like to hear about some great art related books for youth? Or dinosaur books for the 2026 program (you can never have enough dinosaur books!)? What about some unique books you might not know much about?

If so, you’re invited to attend a webinar on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2 pm ET presented by Ellen Myrick, president of Publisher Spotlight and founder of Myrick Marketing & Media. Some of the independent and international children’s book publishers Publisher Spotlight promotes include Barefoot Books, Child’s Play, Cicada Books, Floris Books, Gecko Press, Inhabit Media, Lantana, Diamond Book Distributors, Nosy Crow, What on Earth Books, Creston Books, and many more. She is also a frequent presenter of books for KitLit TV.
