We are updating our listserv software so this is a test.

A month or so ago I asked everyone to share their suggestions for 2010 summer reading slogans for the children and the teens and for suggestions for a theme for 2011. Thank you to all of you who responded. I really appreciate your input.

I've compiled the top slogans and themes that you all suggested. These are the ones I submitted to the Collaborative.

They are:

Children\x92s Slogan:

Make a splash @ your library Dive into reading @ your library Fish for a good book @ your library Ride the reading wave @ your library Plunge into a good book @ your library

Teen Slogan:

Go with the flow @ your library Drink it in @ your library Shore bets @ your library Surf\x92s up @ your library Hydrate your mind @ your library

2011 Themes:

1. Space (outer space, planets, ufos, space station, space shuttle, etc.) 2. Adventure 3. Going green 4. World cultures or multiculturalism 5. Motion/Movement (transportation (how things go) & also movement like dance, sports, etc.)
