HI to the List,

I just want to take the time to thank everyone who responded to me personally about looking for work in public libraries during a tough fiscal time. Quite a few of the folks mentioned not to look at the state hotline as a reflection of what will be in the fall. Supposedly hiring falls off in the summertime. Others suggested that folks looking for work should keep fresh on their computer skills. Lastly, people suggested that it's a good idea to join NJLA(New Jersey Library Assoc.) and to get involved on various committees through NJLA.
