We had set the age range for the teen programs as 13 – 17. The kids who attended were on the younger end of the range. I think we could have had a bigger group if we allowed the “tweens” to come, but this particular branch is strict about what constitutes a teen.

A while back I had asked for suggestions for someone to do a graphic novel-style workshop for teens. A couple of people suggested Doug Baron, who does anime workshops. The program was yesterday, and it was great! Thank-you to Elissa Rizzo and Robin Koerner for suggesting him. Doug had wonderful rapport with the kids and kept them engaged the whole time.
