VOTE FOR OBNJ 2009!
Please excuse the cross-posting...
The voting is currently open at www.onebooknj.org! All librarians, library users, and readers are encouraged to vote for your favorite adult, teen, and children's book titles for the 2009 One Book New Jersey selections. Nominations and annotations are posted on the website, and you can vote in one, two, three, or ALL FOUR categories. VOTING ENDS AT 11:59 P.M. ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2008.
The OBNJ task force is putting the decision in your hands! Once the votes are counted and the winners are announced, the task force will work hard to put together a website full of read-alike ideas, programming opportunities, resources, and other information to help you to promote these titles in your library in 2009.
Information on the 2008 selections will remain on the website until the end of the calendar year before it is archived (where it will still be accessible at www.onebooknj.org). Feel free to use the information and programming ideas currently at the website to continue to promote the OBNJ 2008 titles. (The chance to enter the OBNJ contest runs through OCTOBER 31! www.onebooknj.com/news)
