We get moms to decorate, coordinate volunteers, get people to
sign up for volunteer snacks, set up and break down the book fair. We also have
an open house night where everyone in the school community is invited (we
usually have a special event or guest on that night, a contest, family picnic, etc.).
We also have a books and bagels teacher preview after school so teachers can
fill out a wish list. We send home flyers announcing the book fair and open
house night. Hope these suggestions help.
I will be setting up my first
book fair soon. Does anybody have any suggestions? Any things to
watch out for?
