As always, please excuse any cross-posting...
Almost 1800 votes have been cast to choose the four winners for One Book New Jersey 2009! Thank you to all who have voted so far!
The votes are pretty close in all the categories -- especially the Adult Title! Encourage your staff and readers (parents, children, teens, everyone) to vote by Friday, October 3 at www.onebooknj.org!
Onces the votes are compiled and we can announce the winners, the OBNJ Task Force will begin work on the 2009 OBNJ website, providing all libraries and reading groups with useful resources for all of your programming and promotional needs. (Speaking of promotional needs, don't forget that OBNJ has tons of products to use as promotional items and give-aways at www.cafepress.com/onebooknj. All proceeds go directly to the New Jersey Library Association in support of programs like One Book NJ.)

It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters, in the end. [Ursula K. LeGuin] |
