We're considering a creating a Parenting Bulletin Board at our library with "Things to Know" and "Places to Go" sections and were wondering if anyone else has done this -- we are particularly interested to know if anyone has created a policy statement about what can be posted so that we don't have to start from scratch.
In addition, we are also considering making take-home copies of selected articles -- e.g. alerts about lead in toys, potentially dangerous plastics, AMA recommendation for more vitamin D, and the like -- and were wondering about copyright implications. Are we allowed to make multiple copies of a single article in a newspaper or magazine? Are the rules different if we download an article from the web? What about a page from a website?
Thanks in advance!
