Good afternoon,

 

As your YALSA Publications Committee liaison, I’d like to briefly introduce myself and give you a quick overview of what the Publications Committee can do to help your committee meet its charge to publish for YALSA.

 

The Publications Committee can assist your group by gathering ideas for publication and helping seek out authors and editors for publications.  Our committee also reviews and critiques book and pamphlet proposals from potential authors.  Once a proposal is ready for submission to ALA Editions or other publishers it will be sent to the Executive Director of YALSA. 

 

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend Midwinter and won’t be able to meet with you personally.  However, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 757-369-3190 or by email at ...@nngov.com">lam...@nngov.com.  I will touch base with you after Midwinter to follow up with you on anything you might need to know from our committee.
