This is an important reminder that the due date for submission of Public Library Survey 2008 is April 4th, 2009. There are still 76 library systems listed below that have not logged into the survey. It is important to login into your respective library surveys and start filling the general information to ensure that the survey is functioning. To avoid the last minute rush it is recommended that the completion of survey process be started as soon as possible. Please note that filling out all the required information takes quite some time.

The survey can be accessed at http://collect.informata.com/. Login information is the same as previous year. In case you do not have the login information, contact me by email or phone. All instructions are included in the survey and for easier access to instructions while in the survey, you may click on the number of the question (if it is underlined). The definitions for data elements are also provided by IMLS at http://harvester.census.gov/imls/Pdf/PLS_Defs_FY08.pdf.

PS: 2008 Accuracy Certification (Link after PART III--Part 2 for the survey) is to be mailed after completion of the survey. A copy is also attached in this mail.
