The State Library has a few openings for the Safe Teens = Safe Streets Forum on May 14, 2009 at Mercer County Community

College. This conference focuses on gang presence in New Jersey and how libraries can work with community agencies and law enforcement

to look for solutions to a growing problem in New Jersey. This Forum is sponsored by the State Library and the New Jersey

Library Association Urban Libraries Section. For more information and to register today by 3:00 pm, please call Tina Keresztury at

in the coming week or after the Forum. This is a great program for directors, youth services librarians, and anyone interested in

learning more about gangs. Ocean County Library is one of the presenters at this Forum.
