EBSCO\x92s Career Library \x96 Free to NJ Public Libraries

Background.

Per the message sent to public libraries nationwide by Ebsco on April 24, 2009, they are offering their Career Library database to all public libraries at no charge through December 31, 2009. Ebsco originally planned to work with each and every public library individually to set up both in-house and remote access for their customers. However, Scherelene Schatz, the State Library\x92s Jersey Clicks manager, was able to work with Ebsco to streamline this process.

How to set up in your library.

If your library customers wish to access the Career Library from home they may do so via Jersey Clicks by entering their library card number on the appropriate screen. To offer this resource from within your library, you will need to link the following URL to your web site: http://library.coin3.com/login/index.cfm?siteid=LNJ18143&login=4175140.
