The New Jersey State Library has been chosen to administer a grant to New Jersey public libraries using funds from the 2003 Compact Disc Minimum Advertised Price Antitrust Settlement Grant Program. The terms of the anti-trust settlement require that each library purchase digital music, including downloadable content. If all NJ public libraries eligible for this program elect to participate the grant amount per library will be approximately $470.

This email is being sent to all NJ public library directors to determine if you wish your library to be a recipient of these funds. Please go to the following link: http://doodle.com/k79y7b6ureud736b, input your library's name and check the appropriate column (Yes or No) to indicate your library's intent to participate.

The State Library needs your response no later than September 14, 2009.
