The NJ Council for the Humanities has just announced their annual Awards Celebration, being held at the Montclair Art Museum on October 21 beginning at 5:30 pm. (Full information on this event may be found at https://www.njch.org/contributions_luncheon.html).
At that event the following libraries will be awarded this year's book collection, which consists of the winning titles and all books submitted by publishers:
Edison Township Free Public Library Roselle Park-Veteran\x92s Memorial Library Tenafly Free Public Library Morris County Library Mt. Laurel Library
Each year the Council for the Humanities presents copies of the books it has reviewed for its annual book award to five selected libraries. Each library receives approximately 30 books. The NJ Council for the Humanities Book Award for 2009 is The Hemingses of Monticello: An American Family by Annette Gordon-Reed.
Congratulations to these libraries from the New Jersey State Library.
